This commission is an expansion and renovation of an existing one-story residence. The expansion is achieved by adding a second story to a portion of the existing structure and creating a two-story volume for the living space. The design concept takes advantage of the spectacular views from the bluff overlooking the Barren River and the historical bridge that spans it.
