Designed to display a private classic car collection on a rural site, this project provides space for over 200 fully restored vehicles. The interior of the building was designed to provide maximum flexibility for both the exhibition of the collection and for private events to be held. The open plan allows for flexibility in the display of the cars and ease of access. The perimeter of the interior houses maintenance bays and other support spaces, designed to blend with a classically designed diner and nostalgic downtown streetscape. The exterior of the building takes on the agrarian language of the landscape and successfully works with the site despite its large size.
