DIVINITY SCHOOL LIBRARY
@ Vanderbilt University
In 2006 the Divinity School Library took over the entire second floor space to supplement its Reference and Judaica Rooms on this level and the circulating collection located on the first floor below. The second floor will operate as a primary entrance to the library from 21st Avenue. As such, there will be a new large circulation desk located where the main stairs once stood. The existing corridors will be enlarged and overall user space will be increased with the inclusion of subject-specific study tables. The Divinity Library offices, currently scattered throughout the second floor, will be collected and located on the south end of the building. The periodical collection will be relocated from the north side of the building to the south using the existing structural stack system. On the first floor the current assigned study carrels will be replaced by larger carrels which will be available to all students.
