The Jim Carell Fitness Center is an expansion and renovation of the existing field house facilities located on the 40-acre campus of Father Ryan High School. This addition includes new spaces for a weight room and fitness center, a new training area for the wrestling team, new locker rooms, and the conversion of the existing wrestling practice areas into a full competition facility. Upgrades and renovations were also made to the existing locker rooms, coaches' offices, and mechanical and electrical systems, and new display areas were created to energize the facility. The design for the exterior of this addition draws from the strong elements of the existing campus architecture and provides a new iconic form at an important corner to the campus entry.
